Come and meet author Ben Blake who will be signing copies of his latest book "A Brand of Fire". The book is the first part of a re-telling of the Trojan War, fantasy with plenty of mysticism and hints of magic, but no elves or goblins! His other books are The Risen King and the Songs of Sorrow duology. All his books draw on the historical societies and myths and include fantastical elements. Drop in to meet this up and coming local author.

Using basic basket making techniques, create a garden flower and a willow heart using fresh, locally grown willow which will show off the colours and textures of the tree bark.  All you will need are sharp secateurs and a penknife. 
Suitable for adults and children aged 14+, beginners or those with some experience. Bring a packed lunch.
